bridger-insurance-booth1Bridger enjoyed great success at the American Agents Alliance convention in Palm Springs, September 21-24. The event, held at the JW Marriott Resort, had more than 1,500 independent agent attendees reviewing new carriers, updating continuing education credits, and considering new strategies for building their business.

Chris Ruyak and Charles Bobo attended the convention for Bridger. “Independent agents are the heartbeat of this industry, so our interaction with them helps shape our strategies with products and services,” stated Charles Bobo, Bridger’s Chief Marketing Officer. He added, “We have more than 2,000 agents throughout California, but are always looking to bring in new producers who have a desire to develop new channels of production.”

Chris Ruyak, the Executive Vice President of Bridger Insurance, added, “Since our acquisition of SCJ Insurance Services, we have been aggressively implementing new products and systems to help agents succeed. These include a new cloud-based policy management system, in addition to several new carriers for non-standard auto insurance and commercial auto programs.”

Though a late registrant to the convention, Bridger ended up with a booth in the foyer, and outside the main hall with other exhibitors. Ruyak stated, “Our position in the foyer ended up being a plus for us. We were at the entrance to the show and every agent coming and going had to pass by. Plus, it made for better conversations since the foyer wasn’t as loud.” Who knows, Bridger may stay with this location next year to become a fixture with the American Agents Alliance.

Bridger will definitely be attending in 2018. The staff of the American Agents Alliance was very professional and courteous in handling special requests and challenges.
